Use the braille letters, just as in print, when transcribing roman numerals. If roman numerals are printed in capital letters, in braille those consisting of a single letter are preceded by a single capital sign, and those consisting of more than one letter are preceded by the double capital sign. If roman numerals are printed in lowercase letters, a single letter sign is placed before the corresponding braille letter or letters. Examples:
